99.95% pure tungsten discs, 0.1250" (1/8") in diameter and 0.046875" (3/64") thick, supplied in bags of 500 pieces.
Tungsten's very high density, melting point (3,422 °C) and hardness make small pure-tungsten discs useful wherever a tiny part has to be heavy, heat resistant or durable. Typical applications include:
- Electrical contacts and arc-resistant components
- Precision balance weights and counterweights in small assemblies
- Radiation shielding inserts
- Evaporation and sputtering sources, and high-temperature lab experiments
