TZM is a molybdenum alloy strengthened with small additions of titanium and zirconium. It keeps its strength at temperatures where pure molybdenum begins to soften, and resists recrystallization, making it the standard choice for hot-work tooling, isothermal forging dies, rotating anodes, and demanding furnace components. Available as rod and sheet/plate in a wide range of dimensions.
