Description
A kit of precision tungsten heavy alloy weights, each 0.665" in diameter and 0.750" long, held to +/-0.004" on all dimensions. Sold as kits of 11 or 22 pieces.
- Alloy: MT-185, 97% tungsten with 2.1% nickel and 0.9% iron (97WNiFe), per ASTM B777 Class 4
- Density: 18.5 g/cc, more than twice as dense as steel
- Weight: about 79 g (2.8 oz) per piece; about 1.9 lbs per 11-piece kit and 3.8 lbs per 22-piece kit
Tungsten puts a lot of weight into very little space, so these cylinders suit rifle stocks, balancing work and any job where added weight has to fit in a small, exact cavity.
