Tungsten copper combines tungsten's arc and wear resistance with copper's thermal and electrical conductivity. Bar and plate are machined into resistance welding electrodes, EDM electrodes and heat sinks.

90W10Cu, 85W15Cu, 80W20Cu, 75W25Cu, 70W30Cu and 68W32Cu. More tungsten gives more wear and arc resistance; more copper gives more conductivity.
